I made my Masters university degree at the University of Zurich in media sciences and look back to almost a decade of working for well-known international and national brands such as eBay or Migros. My experience spans across the entire digital marketing funnel, but I am particularly passionate about customer relationship marketing and customer loyalty, where I have a proven record in leveraging customer data and insights to deliver relevant, customized, engaging omnichannel customer experiences which drive a measurable business impact. I have also successfully managed and launched numerous digital projects in e-commerce, app development, web development or email development.
I’m a highly energetic, open minded and flexible personality and enjoy creating a meaningful customer impact in a fast-paced, continuously changing multifaceted business environment.
Movement has always been a big part of my life. As a 4 year old I already hit the ski slope on my own. During my university times I practiced equitation, where I took care of the young and crazy horses no one else wanted to ride. I enjoy competitions. Be it in equitation (show jumping) or in combat sports (kickboxing and thai boxing) or any other area of life, I love to challenge myself and go beyond my comfort zone. Currently I spend most of my time thai boxing. I have also been a couple of times to Thailand, where I spent a few months in Muay Thai training camps and fought on the local stage.
I like to inspire and motivate the people around me for sports. Be it for combat sports, participating in a spartan (obstacle) race or simply have fun moving by doing play sports.
I made my university degree in mechanical and process engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where I specialised in aerospace technology. Technology has always attracted me and I have always enjoyed to build things. In my spare time I learn programming, repair cars or bikes and do all kind of craft work in and around the house.
The fascination for aviation came naturally as a side effect of my passion for doing gliding sports during my university times. During studies I was a research assistant at the Institute for Gas Turbines and Aerospace Propulsion, where I worked on various projects such as a new construction for a test bench for a transsonic compressor. In my most recent job I was working as an engineer for Kopter – formely known as Marenco Swisshelicopter – where a new generation of single turbine helicopters is being built.
I have always been passionate about sports. I particularly appreciate disciplines which require full involvement and focus. Even better if I get to enjoy nature at the same time. I have an extensive list of sports in which I actively participated, just to name a few of them: athletics, gymnastics, BMX, whitewater kayaking, parcours, snowboarding, lacrosse, American football, surfing, sailing, mountainbiking, rock climbing, paragliding and ski touring. It probably comes without saying that I enjoy exploring my limits and getting my regular adrenaline kick. Just trying and failing many times and getting back up is probably my secret of being a quick learner and ultimately my secret of quick progress.
My mission is to unite my passion for engineering and sports in order to create a sustainable product, which provides an added value for the population.
